Max-Tone Modifications

Hello, my name is Tommy Young and I have been working with steel guitars since 1985, adding knee levers, pedals, removing changers, cleaning and repairing all makes and models.

I have a long history as a machinist, tool and die and millwright worker which helps me understand just what it takes to have your steel guitar sounding and looking it's best. Knowing how to reach that perfect tone is what I specialize in.

The Max-Tone Modification doesn't correct a guitar that has other problems but these can be addressed by me as well, as I have been working on steel guitars since 1985, for myself and several of my friends, adding knee levers and pedals, removing the changers and cleaning and repairing them.
